Bread Story-collaborative writing

Food 4 all

eTwinning project had another lovely activity for the amazing students in the 1st Primary School of Pyrgos, their partners in Athens and their partners in Turkey.

The Greek students read a lovely fairy tale on bread

In collaboration with our partners from  Athens we tried to recreate it in English for our Turkish partners. We used the MeetingWords platform.

When the students in Turkey read the story, they commented on it.
We were very happy to read their comments as well as what the head master of their school and their teacher wrote.

Bread Stories

The first activity we did in January with my 5th graders and our partners in Athens and Turkey was about bread, the world's favourite food!

We watched a video about the different kind of bread round the world.

Then we filled in the various types of bread and other information on our collaborative thinglink

Happy Interactive Introductions

With one of my 5th grade classes we have been doing an eTwinning project that focusses on Games and Playing. The name of our project is Happy Games and Playing at school or Happy GaP at school. Our twinspace is at  https://twinspace.etwinning.net/45896/home

We are cooperating with a Czech school, a Polish school, an Italian school and...another Greek school which is actually in Ileia, in Varda.

The first part was about introducing ourselves.
We created a thinglink and added our hobbies and our names on it .https://www.thinglink.com/scene/1015528965558763521

Then we created an anwergarden and asked our partners the question "Happy GaP, do you remember our hobbies?" https://answergarden.ch/635233

They also uploaded photos of them doing our answergarden quiz. Happy GaP at school in  action!
